Country Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
1 can 8-count refrigerated biscuits
6 large eggs
1 lb. breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups white gravy
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Prepare the biscuits: Cut each biscuit into quarters and arrange evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Add the sausage evenly over the biscuits.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour evenly over the sausage and biscuits.
Add the gravy: Pour 2 cups of prepared white gravy evenly over the casserole.
Top with cheese and spread the shredded cheddar evenly over the top.
Bake for approximately 35–45 minutes, or until the eggs are set, the biscuits are cooked through, and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
